Jon, Kate Gosselin Divorce Final! Kate Awarded Custody of 8 + Own Reality Show?!

A Pennsylvania judge has finalized the divorce of reality stars Jon and Kate of ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8′ after the couple filed in June or 2009.

Jon and Kate Gosselin of the hit reality show ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8′ filed for a no-fault divorce in June and was finalized this week!

Kate Gosselin was awarded custody of their 8 children according to her lawyer Mark Momjian.

“She was thrilled to have been awarded custody of their eight children.”

He added: “It’s always an emotional mix when a party gets divorced, and this case is no exception.”

“I did speak with Kate as soon as the divorce decree was entered, and she’s not only pleased, she’s also relieved it’s finally over,” says Momjian.

The Gosselins became famous when Kate had sextuplets and a pair of twins and was offered their own reality show on the cable network TLC. The show focused on the couple raising the 8 children but their relationship soured after they became famous resulting in their divorce.

A statement from Kate’s lawyer was released in where she says: “I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalised, and I look forward to the new year, focusing on the children. This has been a challenging transition for all of us.”

Since the divorce was finalized, it has been reported that Kate may be starring her own show ‘Kate Plus 8′ also on TLC.
