NBA Bad Boy Ron Artest of L.A. Lakers Admits He Had A Problem: Drinking During Games!

Los Angeles Lakers NBA forward Ron Artest dropped the bomb on sports fans stating that he consumed alcohol during his games…Take a sip and flip the script for details…..

“I used to drink Hennessy [Cognac] at halftime. I kept it in my locker. I’d just walk to the liquor store and get it,” says Artest.

That’s a big step in admitting you have a problem! Though Artest is clean these days, he speaks about his troubles in the December edition of Sports News Magazine: “When I was a 19-year-old father, whew. I was a single pimp! I was wild. A lot of marijuana and alcohol even before that age. I still party and I have fun, but not like I used to. I used to drink every night and party every night.”

When asked why things didn’t go so well with the Bulls and Indiana, Artest says he was a head case. “It was all my fault. The first team, in Chicago, I was a head case. I worked really hard but still had this ghetto thing in me that I could not get out. I could’ve stayed at Indiana my whole career, but I said I wanted to be traded. I was getting more stable, but I was still unstable and I was a bad teammate. They had to get rid of me.”

In 2004, Ron Artest was suspended for 30 games because of a brawl between him and some fans where Artest jumped the wall and began fighting possibly while intoxicated from alcohol!
