Hip-Hop Rapper Wale To Perform at Redskins-Cowboys NFL Halftime
Rising Hip-Hop rapper, Wale, most known for his song ‘Chillin’ featuring Lady Gaga, is set to perform during halftime on December 27th during the Dallas Cowboys – Washington Redskins game at the FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.
A loyal Redskins fan, Wale was born the son of Nigerian immigrants in D.C. and is noted as the first rapper in D.C. to gain national attention in almost 10 years.
As for his performance during half-time, Wale will be performing his song “Chillin” and his current single “Pretty Girls” featuring Gucci Mane and Weensey of Backyard Band from off his album Attention Deficit which was released November 10, 2009 (Allido/Interscope).
Meanwhile, Wale is wrapping up touring with rap artist Jay-Z, as reported on HipHopRX.com.
In other news, Wale was recently named one of GQ’s “Men of The Year.” The magazine named rappers Drake, Wale, and Kid Cudi “Gangsta Killers of the Year” at their “Men of the Year” party at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood on Wednesday (Nov. 18) and claims that the three killed the gangsta persona in rap music.
