Even before rapper DMX can begin his celebrity boxing match, he has already pulled out. DMX was scheduled to fight against New Mexico actor Eric Martinez on December 12 in Alabama and according to sources, the rapper was rumored to have pulled out over safety concerns, but it was actually over having the fight fixed so he could win his bout.
Due to DMX not fulfilling his fighting obligation, a lawsuit may be pursued by Thunder Promotions who is handling the celebrity charity boxing match. However, in the meantime, rapper Coolio, who has been having as much legal problems as rapper DMX, is stated to have signed on in DMX’s place.
The mixed martial arts fight is scheduled for December 12 in Alabama.
In other news, DMX is expected to be releasing a new album with the reported title of “You’ll Fly with Me Later” which is scheduled to release the first quarter of 2010.
