Beyonce, Maxwell and Keri Hilson Lead CENTRIC: 2009 Soul Train Awards

Nominations for the CENTRIC PRESENTS: 2009 Soul Train Awards has been announced, and Beyonce Knowles, Keri Hilson and Maxwell lead with four nominations each.

CENTRIC, which is a new 24-hour music and entertainment BET spin-off channel, will be airing the 2009 Soul Train Awards in a special simulcast hosted by Academy Award-nominated actor Terrence Howard and actress Taraji P. Henson.

Taping for the show will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia and will premiere on CENTRIC and BET simultaneously on Sunday, November 29 at 8 PM CST.

Performances for the show include Toni Braxton, Erykah Badu, Trey Songz, Ginuwine, Fantasia, Robin Thicke, Ryan Leslie, Angie Stone, Chrisette Michelle, Raheem DeVaughn, Karyn White, Boyz II Men, Ledisi, Chico Debarge, Angie Stone, Brian McKnight, Melanie Fiona, and Johnny Gill among others, with a special honor going to the late Michael Jackson for “Entertainer of The Year.”
