Couple Robin Thicke and Pregnant Paula Patton Expecting First Baby (Photos)

R&B singer Robin Thicke and wife, actress Paula Patton, most known for starring as Angel Davenport/Sally B Shelly in the movie ‘Idlewild’ alongside hip-hop/rap group Outkast (Andre ‘Andre 3000′ Benjamin and Big Boi), is reportedly expecting their first baby together, the couple’s publicist reportedly confirmed.

The couple who were high school sweethearts have known each other since the age of fourteen after meeting at a teen club and later married in 2005.

In an interview on last year, Thicke stated he wanted a big family and even plans on possibly adopting, but went on to state that they currently weren’t ready for a child just yet.

Most recently, Paula Patton told Giant Magazine (where she’s featured in a sexy photo spread) that she had stopped taking birth control for the past few months in hopes to get pregnant. According to Patton, she had been on ‘the pill’ since they started dating.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are expecting their newborn sometime in mid-2010 or later.

In other news, Robin Thicke, who’s been featured on a number of hip-hop tracks, has a new feature on Gossip Girls’ Leighton Meester’s debut single “Somebody to Love.”

Wifey, Paula Patton’s latest movie “Precious,” starring herself, Gabourey Sidibe, Mo’Nique Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz, is scheduled for release on November 6, 2009.
