Lil Wayne Covers Aerosmith; Guitar Rock Performance, London (Photos)

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr aka ‘Lil Wayne’ covers Aerosmith in a live guitar performance in London. Transitioning himself into rock is nothing new for Lil Wayne or his fans but in London on last night (Oct. 8), Lil Wayne picked up a guitar and played along with a live band which included a cover of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way.”

Performing the song while playing on only one string “frenetically,” according to NME, Lil Wayne then followed up with his rock/rap track “Prom Queen.”

The show in London which was reportedly Lil Wayne’s first of three shows at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo, short HMV Apollo, ended on a tribute to the late Michael Jackson, as Lil Wayne had his DJ play hit song ‘Billie Jean’ off Michael Jackson’s 1982 album Thriller.
