On Wednesday, rapper Lil Mama went on the Tyra Banks show and spoke on the subject of her crashing the stage as Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performed at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA’s) for their song “Empire State of Mind,” as reported on HipHopRX.com
Super model and now talk show host Tyra Banks asked Lil Mama, “I have to ask you, what the hell were you thinking?”
“Well, I don’t think it was as serious as everyone is making it out to be,” stated Lil Mama.
The rapper goes on to speak on how she was sitting in the audience and reminiscing on the tragedies in New York and embracing the moment. Lil Mama went on to state that after she reviewed the footage, she hadn’t realized that Jay-Z had tapped on her on the leg and she was a little embarrassed about it.

Well if you ask me, I think lil mama was a fool to go up on the stage and ruin jay-z and alicia keys turn on stage. Now that is very rude. How the world would she go up uninvited to the stage. It was their performance now hers. Now that is absurd.Lil mama had no business on the stage. Now that is sad, all that rehearsal wasted.
