Seems that Amy Winehouse may have a new career and it may be rapping. Yes, the singer who has been in the spotlight for her drug addiction and sticking to the lyrics of her song “Rehab,” makes an attempt at rapping in a video during a studio session with two of her backup singers during her attempt to rap.

During her freestyle, Zalon who’s playing the drums in the background gives her some background vocals as well as Ade who are accompanied by Robin in the studio.

Although Amy Winehouse was a little rough on the lyrics, who knows she may put a few so-called rappers out of a job. Well on the other hand, maybe she should just stick to singing since this is what she’s best at and what made her a five time Grammy winner.

According to Zalon, jokingly he states that the two may start a rap group after the session hits the Internet.

“Amy Winehouse and I are gonna start a rap group called “A to Z” short for (Amy to Zalon) Lol!!,” he stated on Twitter.

In related news, Zalon recently sang vocals for Amy Winehouse new solo and reportedly is signing to Amy Winehouse’s new label Lioness Records with the first act to be released being stated to be her 13 year-old goddaughter Dionne Bromfield on October 12, 2009.
