Recently, the Academy Award-winning Three 6 Mafia’s dynamic duo DJ Paul and Juicy J filmed their new music video for their new song “Lil Freak (Ugh Ugh Ugh)” which is the single from off their upcoming album “Laws of Power” which features Louisiana rapper Webbie. The music video was filmed on Thursday in Downtown Memphis, TN on August 20 at multiple locations throughout the city.
In one photo Juicy J can be seen standing on the infamous Beale Street decked in jewelry sporting a black t-shirt with a white tee underneath and jeans. In another photo, DJ Paul can be seen wearing a black t-shirt with the words”Kill For Fun” while holding a bandanna and wearing what seems to be black rain boots and a Memphis Tigers cap in front of the New Daisy Theatre.
The Downtown scene then jumped on to the house on St. Paul Street where director Craig Brewer’s movie Hustle & Flow (Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson) was filmed and then later on the shoot moved to the Pyramid where Webbie took his presence in one scene wearing a red t-shirt, white pants, white shoes and a red cap.
According to Sony Music, the music video “Lil Freak” is expected to release the first week of September.
Meanwhile the album “Laws of Power” is slated for release on November 10, 2009.
