A life-sized sculpted depiction of a naked Angelina Jolie breastfeeding twins at the same time while sitting down is the art symbol of Daniel Edwards who created the statue which will be on display at the upcoming World Breastfeeding Week.
The set of twins which are breastfeeding on the Angelina Jolie sculpture represent Angelina Jolie’s own set of twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The artwork, which is titled “Landmark For Breastfeeding” is first set to go on display at the Mainsite Contemporary Art Museum in Norman, Oklahoma City from September 11, shows Angelina Jolie holding the twins between her arms cupping their heads with her eyes closed as they both breastfeed on the mother of six.
The sculpture which symbolizes public breastfeeding is meant to encourage more women to breastfeed in public, according to Sandy Wilson of Phantom-Financial, the organization behind the artwork.
The artwork was supposedly inspired by the following photo of Angelina Jolie on the cover of W Magazine breastfeeding one of her twins as photographed by Brad Pitt.
