Photo of Miami rapper Brisco getting robbed in barber shop
Miami, Florida rapper Brisco, born British Alexander Mitchell, was robbed on July 29th at a local barbershop at 6301 Northwest Sixth Avenue in Miami, Florida which is listed in the directory under the name Player’s Choice Barbershop. The rapper Brisco along with others in the shop were robbed of their jewelry and money along with the rapper’s ride, a Range Rover, which was recovered at a location later by police.

The rapper, Brisco, who reportedly had just come from a photoshoot was wearing jewelry estimated to cost around $40,000. Why the rapper would be at a barber shop after a photo shoot instead of before the photoshoot may be questionable to some, but pertaining to the robbery itself, one of the local customers in the shop at the time of the invasion is the focus of question by police. The man who was seen on video surveillance camera talking on his cellphone prior to the robbery was tapped by one of the robbers during the hold-up at which point he was the only one to exit the shop during the robbery.

Brisco, who is based out of Opa-Locka, FL which is located in Miami Dade County has responded to the robbery on camera stating that the robbery will not hold him back because he can get “bigger” jewelry and he still represents the streets of Miami Dade.

“I’m still alive, you know that street medicine is gone be good… It’s still good, I guess I’ll get bigger jewelry, it still go hard, it’s straight material for my next album. I still rep the streets of Miami, I still rep the streets of Dade County,” stated Brisco.

Miami police are still seeking the four men believed to be behind the robbery and is asking for any tips to be sent in to Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
