Kid Cudi Teams Up With Mark Wahlberg For New TV Show

Rapper Kid Cudi is the latest to be joining the list of entertainers to be hitting television. Kid Cudi, born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, will be making his debut in acting by teaming up with actor/rapper and flim producer Mark Whalberg (Boogie Nights, Max Payne, Four Brothers, The Italian Job) who was known as Marky Mark when he was a rapper in the early 90′s.

Kid Cudi, known for his song ‘Day N Nite,’ will be appearing in the new HBO comedy series “How To Make It In America” in a lead role as Domingo Dean which according to the rapper, he named after both of his brothers, Dean and Domingo.

The series “How To Make It In America” which is directed by Julian Farino (Sex And The City, The Sopranos, Entourage) is about Ben (Bryan Greenberg) and Cam (Victor Rasuk) trying to hustle their way through New York in pursuit of the American dream.

Meanwhile, Kid Cudi states that he made sure to inform the writers early on that he didn’t want his character having anything to do with music, since he sees that would not be really acting and you can rest assure that he will not be giving up on his music anytime soon.
