After rumors that Jay-Z sabotaged Chris Brown’s performance opportunity at the 2009 BET Awards on June 28, the rapper spoke in a recent interview and made claims that it’s only a rumor.

In an interview with BBC’s Tim Westwood, Jay-Z denied that he would do such a thing and that something like that would be a sucker move.

“That’s not even my style. If I got a problem with Chris Brown, I got a problem with Chris Brown,” stated Jay-Z. “I didn’t say anything, or said anything live or behind the scenes, whatever. You know, I don’t agree with what he did and that’s it, that’s it, that’s the end of it” Jay-Z added.

The rapper went on to say, “As far as not letting him [Chris Brown] perform on the BET, that’s just ridiculous, that’s stupid, that’s a sucker move, I wouldn’t do it. And people commenting on rumors is a sucker move.”

He also spoke Chris Brown’s recent apology stating, “We are all flawed human beings. I mean, all a person can do is apologize. That’s it, what can we say. Everyone should be allowed to make mistakes, it happens.”

The rapper also spoke about a recent collaboration for the song “Run This Town” with Kayne West and Rihanna in which he confirmed that the three had all teamed up on and even freestyled during the interview. The song reportedly replaced a song that the rapper did with up and coming rapper Drake who recently signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment / Cash Money Records.

In addition, Jay-Z also addressed the situation with The Game, Damon Dash and Jim Jones after it was believed that he had dissed them while doing a freestyle on stage, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com.

The rapper goes to say to ‘tell groupie to get over it.’

“I said I’m not talking about, this, this. I’m not talking… Is that a diss? Like, I’m not talking about you. ‘Oh, you hurt my feelings, oh my God.’ Tell groupie to get over it … tell groupie… If that’s a diss, then wear that. Tell groupie to get over it,” stated Jay-Z.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z is prepping for the release for his upcoming album “The Blueprint 3″ which is scheduled to release on September 11.
