Singer Kelis who’s in the middle of a divorce which may be bound to get ugly with rapper Nas, gave birth to their son on yesterday (July 21). The singer went into labor at the time they were expected to be heading to court, but fortunately, the date was postponed.
Meanwhile, news is swirling around that the rapper wasn’t allowed to witness the birth of his son, who’s name was announced as Knight by Nas during a performance. During the performance the rapper states, “Don’t believe nothing you hear in the media. I love y’all. Don’t listen to that bullsh-t. I love y’all, that’s why I’m here.”
In past months, Kelis had been venting on Twitter, possibly hinting at Nas as being a cheater. As reported on HipHopRX.com, the singer posted she would like to touch on cheaters and addressed scum bag coward husbands. Prior to the posts, Kelis had filed for spousal support, and Nas counter reacted asking the Judge to deny her request.
This will be Nas’ first son and first child with Kelis. The rapper has a daughter from a previous relationship.
