I can't believe there are people (specifically his female fans) out there who are buying his lies. Chris sounds like he's reading the entire speech from a script his PUBLICIST wrote. CHRIS, you were having fun JET SKIING and GAMBLING just a couple weeks after you beat your poor girlfriend to a pulp and now you expect us to give you a hug and forgive you? Please.

Wow, what a load of BULL. I can’t believe there are people (specifically his female fans) out there who are buying his lies. Seek Rihanna's forgiveness then just wait on the public. The public always forgives.

Great job Chris. We all make mistakes. I will be honest, after that incident, I truly did not feel you were worthy of being a recording artist. That that would be giving too much attention to a monster. I think I really needed to feel like you were taking responsibility for your actions. I felt like that wasn't happening. But after seeing this, I really understand. Your attorney was right. You couldn't go public until after the legal part was finished. Chris, what I am going to say may sound like I am being mean, but I'm not. I think that you and Rihanna are entirely too young to be in such a serious relationship. I also believe that your relationship was too public and the public was allowed to decide that you two were to be together forever - because if this had never happened and you two had a normal break-up, you would have still been considered a dog, because everyone expected you two to be together. And, at this time in both of your careers, there is too much stress. You acted out immaturily and speaking out immediately would have been the same thing because you do have to deal with the legalities and how it was going to affect your freedom. Your words today have made me understand you as a person and the work you are willing to do for yourself to make sure this never happens again and I know they were your words - not a script. You are a beautiful person, Chris. Good luck to you.

Chris, I am so glad that you decided to speak up about the incident that happened earlier this year.
