‘Tiny and Toya,’ TI’s Fiancee and Lil Wayne’s Ex, BET Reality TV Show

TINY & TOYA, the new reality television series which airs on BET network, first sneak peek of the new half-hour show was revealed after the 2009 BET Awards on Sunday, June 28th and then again on Tuesday, June 30th.

The show which was filmed in Atlanta, takes you into the lives of Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, 33, of the 90’s multi-platinum music group Xscape who is also hip hop artist T.I.’s fiancee, as well as Antonia “Toya” Johnson-Carter, rap artist Lil Wayne’s ex-wife and high school sweetheart.

In the preview of the show, Tiny speaks about how she was already established prior to meeting rapper T.I. in the mall who was an up and coming rapper and how their relationship continued from there. The pint-sized singer, songwriter and mother of three also deals with jump starting her own ventures, a father who suffers from Alzheimer, a mother who’s pushing her to get back into singing, and going through everyday life situations with her best friend Toya.

“My dad doesn’t really remember a lot, he doesn’t talk a lot. He’s always been not so talkative, but talkative to me when I come in. He’s always talking about music, this and that, but no, it’s none of that, really,” stated Tiny about her father.

As for Toya, who has a daughter with Lil Wayne, she finds comfort in the advice that Tiny gives her while struggling with a mother battling drug addiction on the streets of Louisiana. Toya pushes at overcoming the stereotypical baby mama stigma and strives at maintaining a strong relationship with Lil Wayne’s mother as she ventures into her own business projects.

Meanwhile, Tiny, who reportedly wed T.I. prior to going to jail on gun charges which was later shot down, as previously reported on HipHopRX.com, will also touch on her reported marriage with T.I. on the show. So you don’t want to miss out on any of the upcoming episodes.

Tiny & Toya airs Tuesdays at 9 PM CST on BET.
