Rapper Soulja Boy To Star In Own TV Show; Turns Swag On at BET Awards
HipHopRX.com has learned that rapper Soulja Boy Tell’Em, who last night ‘turned his swag on’ at the 2009 9th Annual BET Awards, will reportedly be starring in his own new television show soon, according to Soulja Boy himself.
“Just got off the phone with my Agent,” Soulja Boy stated via his Twitter blog. “I’m getting my own T.V. Show!”
The young rapper/business man added no further details as to the new TV show.
As reported on HipHopRX.com back in November of last year 2008, the young entrepreneur Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Ramone Way, 18, in connection with Nick Cannon, Honorary Chair and Development Consultant for Nickelodeon station TEENick, were making plans to star Soulja Boy in a new TV series on Nickelodeon which reportedly was inspired by Will Smith’s hit 90’s show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Earlier this month, Soulja Boy also announced on Chelsea Lately that he was tapped to star in two movies which will be directed by Nick Cannon.
