Hip Hop artist, singer, actress and Cover Girl Queen Collection spokeswoman, Queen Latifah born Dana Owens, 39, will be joining the likes of celebrity socialite Paris Hilton, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, hip hop music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, R&B singer Mariah Carey, music artist Gwen Stefani, amongst others by jumping into the fragrance business with her first scent labeled “Queen by Queen Latifah.”

Earlier this month, it was announced that Parlux Fragrances, Inc had signed a licensing agreement to launch the first fragrance from Queen Latifah which will make its debut Fall 2009 and will start at the cost of $49 for a 1.7 oz. bottle. Other “Queen” alternatives will be made available such as a body butter and a body lotion with more future products to be made available.

The “Queen” fragrance will be made available at Dillard’s, Bon-Ton, and Macy’s.
