Geto Boys’ Willie D Restricted From Using Internet After iPhone Scam

HipHopRX.com has learned that Geto Boys pioneer rap artist Willie D, real name William James Dennis, 42, who was arrested back in May for running an iPhone scam operation on eBay, has been ordered to stay away from using the internet.
As with most bond agreements, there’s restrictions, so Willie D, who posted bail after being arrest on the mobile phone scam allegations, cannot use the internet and cannot travel.
Willie D was arrested by FBI agents back in May of this year, 2009, at the George Bush International Airport as he returned from an overseas trip.
The Houston, Texas, Geto Boys hip hop music pioneer and CEO of Relentless Entertainment has been charged with wire fraud in connection with his alleged scheme to sell Apple iPhones and other electronics to overseas buyers over the Internet under a phone company called Texas One Wireless.
Willie D faces up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted of the crimes and an additional $250,000 in fines.
