Perez Hilton and will.i.am
Earlier today (June 22, 2009), a photo of a bruised Perez Hilton born Mario Armando Lavandeira, 31, the celebrity gossip blogger and TV personality, appeared on the Internet along with posts by the blogger claiming that he was assaulted by the entourage of will.i.am and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.

The assault allegedly comes after Perez Hilton was approached by Hip Hop, Pop music singer Fergie, who confronted him about negative comments he made for a song.

Perez Hilton explains in his video statement that on Saturday night at a rehearsal at the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto where Perez Hilton was a presenter, he was asked by Fergie, “Hey why are you being mean, why are you being angry, I thought we were cool” which Perez Hilton claims he replied that he was not being mean and her song had grown on him.

Perez Hilton goes on to say that on Sunday, the day of the awards following the rehearsals, he was aggressively “shouldered” by someone in the entourage of the Black Eyed Peas as they were walking pass him. Perez Hilton happened to mention that altercation later in an interview and supposedly it was blown out of proportion as the accusation made its way back to the Black Eyed Peas.

Meanwhile, later on at an after-party event at the Ultra following the awards show, Perez Hilton says he was then approached again by Fergie who asked him again the same, “I thought we were cool.”

Perez Hlton then says he went to another after-party for Universal Music at a venue called Cobra where he was approached by will.i.am “like a heat seeking missile” and was told, as he got ready to leave around 2 or 3 am, to not write about his band Black Eyed Peas anymore on his blog. “Right in my face he was saying this very aggressively,” stated Perez Hilton. At this time, Perez Hilton claims he answered will.i.am and told him that he will ‘try’ not to write about them anymore.

Perez Hilton then claims will.i.am started saying, “Why are you disrespecting me… you need to respect me.”

Hilton goes on to claim that after attempting to compliment will.i.am for the work he’s done with the Black Eyed Peas and the Pussycat Dolls, he still was unable to calm will.i.am down who he claims was steadily screaming at him. At this point, Perez Hilton says he couldn’t contain himself anymore and decided to get as disrespectful as much as he could to him. Hilton then calls music producer and hip hop artist will.i.am “gay” and a “f-ggot.”

“I knew it was going to set him off,” claimed Perez Hilton in the video.

After the bold statement and attempted insult to set will.i.am off, Perez Hilton states that he left out of the club, and again was approached by will.i.am and his entourage, but this time with violence, as he claims Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio Molina aka Polo Molina punched him several times in the eye.

After the alleged assault, Perez Hilton says that on his way back to his hotel, he was followed by the Black Eyed Peas entourage which freaked him out so he decided to call the police in fear that something more would happen to him.

Later Perez Hilton would Twitter on his blog about the incident and the alleged assault after attempting to call the police who informed him that they were practically too busy to send someone at that time.

“I was assaulted by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards,” Perez Hilton wrote.

“I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke,” Hilton added.

Later, will.i.am posted a video denying Hilton’s allegation claiming that it was a fan who had assaulted him.

“F-ck you will.i.am for lying, shame on you,” cries Perez Hilton in his video in response to will.i.am’s statement.

Before that, Perez Hilton poured his heart out thanking his fans for showing concern and contacting the police for him.

The gossip blogger then ends his video cry with “I have lost all respect for all of you and the Black Eyed Peas and Fergie, you’re fugly — bitch!”

Meanwhile, Toronto police have charged Liborio ‘Polo’ Molina, 36, manager of the Black Eyed Peas, with the alleged assault and he has been ordered to appear in court on August 5th to answer the charge.
