Hip Hop artists T-Pain and Lil Wayne’s collaborative album which the two have been working on since 2008 is still underway and the album ‘T-Wayne’ reportedly has 12 songs completed for the project.

In an interview, MTV News was told that the 12 songs were complete, that the two are going slow and that there’s no rush.

“It can come out whenever,” says Teddy P (T-Pain) regarding the release of the upcoming album. “We’re gonna keep it pushing, however. It’s gonna be pushed,” he adds.

As previously reported, the two began working on the album in 2008 during the time Lil Wayne was working on “Tha Carter IV,” at that time the new album was expecting to be released in 2009.

Meanwhile, T-Pain states that their schedules have been making it where they’re unable to do music together, so, the two, since last year, have began sending tracks back and forth to each other — one starts on a song and the other adds their part and re-sends it back, vice versa.

In other news, T-Pain who was previously on tour for Lil Wayne’s “I Am Music” tour recently celebrated the birth of his third child on May 9, son Kaydnz Kodah Najim.
