Hip hop artist Drake has responded to the rumor that he and Rihanna are dating or were caught kissing at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in New York. The Canadian Hip-Hop music artist and actor spoke via phone with New York City radio station Hot 97′s Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg this Thursday morning (May 21) and denied any romantic relationship with the R&B singer Rihanna.
Drake claims that and he and Rihanna are just friends and there is no romance between the two despite the claim of being spotted ‘locking lips’ at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in New York, according to NY Post’s Page Six, as reported today on www.HipHopRX.com.
“It’s not like that at all,” Drake said. “I’m being honest. [She's] just a friend, that’s all. A great artist,” he added.
Though Drake denies the two were seen kissing, he does admit to being at the same place with Rihanna on the night in question but insists on their relationship being only a friendship stating it’s “nothing at all.”
“I have the most respect for her. I think she’s so talented,” Drake adds.
At this time, there have been no comments from Rihanna or her reps regarding the rumor or night in question.
According to the rumor report, Rihanna, has also been allegedly spending time in New York with “I Kissed a Girl” famed pop singer Katy Perry.
