Rapper DMX Released From Arizona Jail

Rapper DMX, after serving over 90 days in an Arizona jail for charges stemming from drug, animal cruelty and fraud, was released on yesterday, May 14, 2009.

As previously reported, DMX was sentenced back on January 30th, to continue his 90 day sentence in Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, AZ after having multiple run-ins with the law before hand.

Though the rapper is known for his multiple run-ins with the law, DMX, who held an interview with My Fox Phoenix while in jail states that he has actually never been caught at the scene of a crime.

“Don’t believe everything you read, don’t believe everything you hear, and only believe half of what you see, God bless you,” stated DMX in his interview.

The rapper who was rumored on last month to have been appearing on the Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew reality television show, was later stated to not be appearing on the TV show by his publicist who denied the rumor.

Meanwhile, DMX is due back in court on May 19 on an aggravated assault charge for allegedly throwing a tray of food at a prison guard during his short jail stint in Arizona.
