G-Unit rapper/CEO 50 Cent, who’s been feuding off and on with Miami rapper Rick Ross for the last few months had some brief words to say about Rick Ross’ album and it’s #1 album Billboard status.

50 Cent, who claims he hadn’t heard his hip hop rival Rick Ross’ album “Deeper Than Rap,” which dropped in stores two weeks ago, Tuesday (April 21, 2009) on Def Jam, gave his thoughts specifically on Rick Ross’ album sales, due to the fact that the Miami rapper’s album recently hit number 1 on Billboard with 158,000 copies sold it’s first week of release.

“I didn’t get an opportunity to hear his record… but alot of freak numbers come out of Def Jam..,” stated the G-Unit founder and rapper 50 Cent in his brief video interview clip with MTV News.

“I think it could be a disappointment to the system based on how much… money they spent marketing,” 50 Cent added in response to whether the album was a flop in regards to the album sales of Rick Ross’ album versus the money that was put on it for marketing.

The rapper did add though “..but you can’t call a number one a flop under any circumstances..,” giving Ross’ somewhat credit for his #1 chart status.
