Music producer/rapper Swizz Beatz has teamed up with Hennessy to help launch a new limited-edition line of cognac which the single “When I Step In The Club” is being used for. The single “When I Step In The Club” which is directed by Hype Williams is being marketed to promote Hennessy Black as a part of the promotions.
According to an official statement, the promotions will include both online and offline marketing campaigns.
In addition, to help take Hennessy Black viral, consumers who create videos of their own “Up/Down” dance to Swizz Beatz single, will be posted on Hennessy Black’s YouTube channel where they will be voted on. The most popular dancers will be flown off to L.A. where film and video director Hype Williams will film the winner(s) and put their version of the dance into a new re-make of the music video.
On Tuesday (May 5), Swizz Beatz reportedly will be performing his song “When I Step Into the Club,” alongside the JabbaWockeez of “America’s Best Dance Crew” during a launch event in New York City.
