Chris Brown Not Guilty Of Felony Charges of Assaulting Rihanna, According To Him

Chris Brown’s long awaited court date has finally arrived and the R&B singer has made his plea in a Los Angeles court on Monday of NOT GUILTY following the alleged assault of girlfriend Rihanna which led to the singer being charged with two felony charges of assault and making criminal threats.

As previously reported, over the last couple of months, R&B star Chris Brown was thrown into national/world reports accused of allegedly attacking his girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna on the eve of this year’s Grammy Awards.

Last February, during an alleged argument over a reported text message love affair, Chris Brown and Rihanna allegedly got into a fight or some sort of physical fight in and outside of Brown’s rented Lamborghini, which possibly led to the attack on Rihanna as seen in this photo of Rihanna’s bruised and battered face which was leaked onto the Internet.

On Monday, Chris Brown stood before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg and put in his plea alongside his attorney Mark Geragos.

Rihanna, though not present at the courthouse, was represented though in court and following Brown’s plea by Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra. Etra spoke with reporters confirming Rihanna’s whereabouts, her native home of Barbados, and her cooperation with the courthouse which she is willing to testify in the case if subpoenaed, Etra said.

Etra, while not answering reporter’s question as to whether Rihanna thinks Brown is innocent or guilty, claims only that Rihanna wishes to “leave the matters of guilt or innocence to the judge” and “defense counsel.”

Meanwhile, Brown’s next hearing has been scheduled for court April 29 in Los Angeles.
