Oprah To Rihanna - If A Man Hits You Once, He will Hit You Again
During a taping of Oprah’s special airing of Fridays Live in Chicago, the TV talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey, along with Gayle King, Ali Wentworth, Mark Consuelos and special guest Tyler Perry, brought up the topic of Rihanna and Chris Brown which has been making headlines since February 8th, the day Chris Brown allegedly assaulted his girlfriend Pop star Rihanna.

The group touched on the subject of the assault where there where even heated moments during the conversation as Ali Wentworth became frustrated at the fact the Chris Brown was enjoying himself in Miami looking at women and jet-skiing while allegations are being pinned against him.

During the show, Gayle King had this to say about how kids are now making fun of the Chris Brown and Rihanna assault claiming that when they’re playing a video game and one is beating another they are saying ‘I’m gonna Chris Brown you’ and if you are the one that got beat in the game ‘you just got Rihanna’d’.

Tyler Perry who was quiet most of the conversation on the Rihanna and Chris Brown topic, had but one bit of advice and that was for Chris Brown, if he did commit the alleged assault, particularly the part claiming he choked Rihanna, Perry suggested that Chris Brown have a long thought of how that could have ended up much worse.

“Looking at another side of this, what I would love for him [Chris Brown] to consider… this could have been much worse, she could have died. If this actually happened and he strangling her.. so he really needs to take this into consideration and get some counseling” stated Tyler Perry.

“It is a teachable moment… I agree with him [Tyler Perry],” followed Oprah Winfrey.

But the most warning part of the Rihanna, Chris Brown topic on the show is when Oprah stated as previously reported, “If I were your friend I would call you up and tell you to get some counseling and take time to heal…. And also, ‘love doesn’t hurt’ I’ve been saying this to women for years; love doesn’t hurt. And if a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again. I don’t care what his plea is, he will hit you again.”

  1. Chris Brown, Rihanna Poll? 1 Out of 5 Say It's OK To Slap Girlfriends and Wives Says:

[…] it’s ok for a man to slap his wife or girlfriend, a survey has revealed. It seems that Oprah Winfrey’s warning and advice to Rihanna, regarding the alleged assault by boyfriend and singer Chris Brown, comes with shocking evidence. […]

  2. Shak Says:

‘She could have died’, No she couldn’t of. stop exaggeratin plz.

If the beatings were so bad that she could have died, a bone would of been broken or she would have been in hospital for way longer.

  3. Aaliyon Says:

Ok i think your misunderstanding what Tyler Perry said, he wasnt saying she could have died from the beatings, he said she could have died from being strangeld in a head lock. Ive been in a headlock before and i kno how intense it can be when your breathing is cut off, and ur losing contiousness, and her beinf a women, she;s way more delacate then i am, im a male and i couldnt handle being in a damn headlock with somebody strangling ma small little ass, so imagining how big Chris is compared to a small think woman like Rihanna u kno damn well she could have died, that like being chocked to death. Have you ever been in a headlock to the point where the pressure of your face was being sufficated and you couldnt breath? If u have then you would know what Tyler meant by that and in fact he was telling the truth about that, she could have died with her being strangled liek that.
