Looks like trouble is following Coolio to nightclubs. Earlier this month the rapper was involved in a nightclub brawl where audience members began throwing plastic bottles, ice cubes and other objects at the rappers as he performed live on stage.
Now this past Wednesday, the Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum selling artist Coolio born Artis Leon Ivey, Jr. was reportedly robbed of his jewelry and assaulted by numerous audience members after the rapper attempted to do a stage dive into the crowd.
“He nearly flattened one poor girl. Then all the students decided to launch on him”, barman James Fielden told the Daily Star.
The rapper was not only robbed of his jewelry, but the crowd members also took his glasses, shoes, and other possessions.
Although the rapper didn’t get most of his possessions back, his shoes were confiscated back from one of the patrons after the rapper was pulled back on stage by the bouncers.
The rapper was performing at Staffordshire University’s Students’ Union in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
In other news, Coolio entered the Celebrity Big Brother 2009 (UK) house at the beginning of January, alongside fellow guest stars La Toya Jackson and Verne Troyer.
