On Friday, hip-hop couple Nas (Nasir Jones), 35, and Kelis, 29, announced that the two are expecting their first son together later this year. The couple married in 2005 after a two-year engagement.
In reports, Kelis states, “I want a whole bunch of kids. But I want to enjoy my size eight body while I can. I’m actually a little scared about the idea of getting big, so I do lots of Tae Bo!”
Nas currently has a 15 year-old daughter from a previous relationship. This will be the first child for Nas and Kelis.
In other news, Nas recently told MTV that he’s working on an album with Damian Marley and they are trying to build some schools in Africa. The album is expected to be out in early Spring.
