Rihanna and her father Ronald Fenty
Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, has spoken publicly for the first time after the alleged Chris Brown assault. “You think you know somebody, but you really don’t,” said Fenty of Chris Brown. “I didn’t believe it,” Fenty said of first hearing the story about the alleged assault by Brown against his daughter Rihanna.

Though Fenty stated “I know my daughter,” reportedly, the 55 year old salesman and freelance clothing designer, hadn’t seen Rihanna together with Brown since July. “They seemed pretty happy. I don’t know what went wrong,” Fenty continued in his interview with PEOPLE.

Fenty also revealed where and how his daughter Rihanna is doing stating that she was spending time with her girlfriends in Barbados while healing. “There is some bruising. She will be alright. I think so,” Fenty said.

“At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world,” adds Fenty.

Fenty, also stated “If it were me, I’d move on,” but states he wouldn’t tell his daugher what to do either.

As previously reported, since the assault incident happened between the couple around the night of the 51st Grammy Awards, at a Clive Davis pre-Grammy party, the two (Rihanna born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, 20, and Chris Brown born Christopher Maurice Brown, 19,) have been in the news for Brown losing endorsenments, Rihanna being blamed for starting the fight, both being proned by police and crime investigators, Brown changing his Facebook status to ‘single‘ followed by Brown’s father claiming his son is “remorseful” and now this news of Rihanna and her father.

The court case for the incident is set for March 5th, 2009 but the world seems to now want to hear what Chris Brown and/or Rihanna themselves will have to say.

Wow!!!!! I can’t believe they would allow this simple classic bull crap that all men put women threw, or vice versa, to affect their personal careers. They both are really talented people. They both have beauty swimming in both of their ponds, and they both could have anybody in the industry!! So again, why did this happen?
I blame the media, and the fans, PERIOD!!!!!!
The media is the reason we the fans have fell in love with these celebrities. The fans act like these gifted celebrities are not human beings with personal issues, like any other person across america.
The fans put pictures up on their myspace, or whatever of the stars, acting as their peronal administration, or the stars themselves, blogging lies. That is unfair to the celebrities. The media, post things before investigating & researching the whole story, so that makes the fans jump to conclusions, and speculate.
I am praying for both successfully talented gifted kids. They are truly still children, because they career took off before their age could keep up!! May Jesus Christ have mercy on their careers, life, emotional spirit, mental state of mind, and their personal characters that we as fans know & love. Plz, Plz, Plz, America, lets not judge either person, because this is something that is going on either in our families, or around the world. Support their success, no matter what.
At least their not sleeping with minor kids!!!!
