Diddy Wins At 40th NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actor in ‘A Raisin in The Sun’

Multi-platinum Grammy winning music mogul/producer, fashion designer, and all-around businessman Sean Diddy Combs has now earned the title of award-winning television actor and producer to his long list of other achievements.

Diddy took home the award for Best Actor In a Television Movie, Miniseries or Dramatic Special for A Raisin in The Sun as well as a producer honors when A Raisin in The Sun picked up the award for Best Television Movie, Miniseries or Dramatic Special on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the 40th NAACP Image Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on in Los Angeles, California.

“Raisin has been an incredible journey for me and I am honored to be recognized for my work by the NAACP and the entire film and television community,” Diddy said. “I am so proud to have been involved with the production both in front of and behind the camera, and to remain a part of Raisins continued successes.”
