Rapper/entrepreneur 50 Cent is prepping to release his new action packed video game ‘Blood On The Sand’ which will hit stores on Tuesday, February 24th in the US and on Friday, February 20th in Europe. The video game is a sequel to 50 Cent’s ’50 Cent: Bulletproof’ released in November of 2005 and will be available for the Playstation 3 (PS3) and X-Box 360.

The only person missing from the world “Notorious” movie premiere Wednesday night (January 7, 2009) in New York was the late Biggie himself and rapper Lil’ Kim, who reportedly is upset over her role as Biggie’s mistress portrayed in the movie. Other than that, celebrities, entertainers, friends and family all came together at the ‘Notorious’ Movie Premiere. Among those, from music to film to entertainment, who came out and took to the star-studded carpet affair to celebrate and remember the late rapper Notorious B.I.G. at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City were Spike Lee, Idris Elba, Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, Diddy, actor Tyrese Gibson, Ice-T, Coco, Faith Evans, actor Derek Luke, actress Angela Bassett, actor Anthony Mackie, Busta Rhymes, Doug E. G-Unit’s rapper and businessman 50 Cent has released his latest song and next single entitled ‘I Get It In,’ off the album Before I Self Destruct, which the song is produced by Dr. Dre. The first single from Before I Self Destruct was “Get Up,” which has gotten great response but according to 50, “It’s not the strongest effort” on the album. “It’s just a great start for me,” stated 50. The song ‘I Get It In,’ reportedly made it’s debut on Hot 97 with DJ Funkmaster Flex who was giving signs of of approval throughout the record.

Nominees for the 40th NAACP Image Awards were announced at a live press conference which consisted of Corbin Bleu, Audra Mcdonald, Keke Palmer, Nate Parker, Regina Taylor and NAACP Executives. The awards ceremony which will air live on Fox in Los Angeles at the historic Shrine Auditorium on February 12th. The ceremony will be hosted by Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry and Tyler Perry who are previous NAACP Image Award recipients.

R&B singers Beyonce Knowles, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson will be competing for the Image Award for outstanding female music artist and for best music video. The singers will also be competing for supporting film actress with Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson both up for “The Secret Life of Bees” and Beyonce Knowles for the movie role in “Cadillac Records.”
