Rapper Jim Jones, of the Diplomats and the Byrd Gang, appeared at NYPD 18th precinct in New York on Monday (Jan. 5) to talk about the alleged ‘stomp down’ incident at Louis Vuitton store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, according to MTV News. As, recently reported on HipHopRX.com on Christmas Eve, Jim Jones and his entourage allegedly got into a physical altercation with Tyran “Ty Ty†Smith over his friend Jay-Z which ended in both Ty Ty and R&B singer Ne-Yo getting ‘stomped down.’
“I apologize for all my assaultings,” Jim Jones recently said to MTV, but he wouldn’t talk about the alleged fight or ‘Stomp Down’ with Ty Ty or Ne-Yo. “I don’t wanna talk about that … Nah, we not doing that, let’s stop that right there. Let’s not do that. We above that.”
On Monday, a representative for the NYPD stated there was no report of the incident on file and representatives for the Louis Vuitton store were unable to be reached for comment, according to MTV News.
