Katt Williams and Steve Harvey will be taking each other to the stage in a comedy beef for the “2008 Championship of Comedy featuring Steve Harvey & Katt Williams” show on New Years Eve December 31st, 2008 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI.

The younger and more controversial Katt Williams, 37, has led the way in this comedy beef with an audio diss talking trash about the more seasoned, proclaimed King of Comedy, Steve Harvey, 52, who’ll be 53 in January.

Rapper Joe Budden responds back to New Jersey rapper Ransom and apologizes to his fans. After a series of on-going video disses towards each other, Joe Budden decided it’s better for New Jersey if he ends the beef citing he’s a leader by example for the New Jersey movement.

“Sooner or later you got to take a step back and look at the situation and analyze it,” the rapper states. He goes on to state you have to ask, “…is the risk worth the reward. You’re talking about a guy [Ransom] who the highlight of his bio is I beefed with Joe Budden. If you don’t believe me Google it.”

Rapper Chamillionaire tries to connect with his fans by leaving a message and talks about a number of things including mixtapes, the corporate music industry, and rapper Soulja Boy. Chamillionaire also informs fans that they can pre-order his mixtape “Mixtape Messiah 6″ which will be available January 13th, but will be shipped out on January 9th.

Chamillionaire says that he read messages from fans and one in particular telling him that he shouldn’t ever sell a mixtape and should give them away free to fans. The rapper expresses himself stating that in order to make these mixtapes it costs money.

There’s a beef that’s been on-going with New Jersey rappers Joe Budden and Ransom that has now gone to online video recently with, first, Joe Budden making comments about New Jersey rapper Ransom, saying he’s no comparison to him. This lead to Ransom responding to Budden’s comments with comments of his own, which one comment was that he would “beat Joe Budden bloody” and if he doesn’t like it then he can “punch him in the face” when he sees him.

Reportedly Janet Jackson is furious at Beyonce Knowles-Carter after the singer made remarks in an interview that Janet Jackson took as rude about The Jackson’s and belittling her parents.

Warner Music Group, one of the first media companies to strike a deal with YouTube, is looking to make more money from online video with the video sharing giant. The label first struck a deal with YouTube back in late September of 2006. Meanwhile, in the present, the label has decided to pull it’s video catalog from YouTube until a new deal is worked out.
