Rapper MC Breed
Flint, Michigan-based rapper MC Breed born Eric Breed passed away on Saturday at the age of 36. The rapper began his career in the early 90’s first on the 1991 album “MC Breed & DFC” and later with his solo albums “20 Below” in 1992 and “The New Breed” in 1993 which there were 10 other albums to follow.

The rapper is greatly known by the underground world and managed to work with those such as Too Short, the late Tupac Shakur (2Pac), Warren G, The Dayton Family, Jazze Pha, amongst others.

On September 5, 2008 MC Breed was hospitalized and placed on life-support after he collapsed when his kidneys failed during a game of basketball in Atlanta. The rapper was stated to have been recovering after his kidneys failed and was taken off of life support. On Saturday, November 22, 2008, Breed is stated to have died in his sleep, however the cause it not yet known.

MC Breed was getting ready to release an album entitled “Original Breed/Mc Breed - The Original Swag” featuring Too Short among others. The rapper was also preparing to release a DVD “Where is MC Breed” which chronicled his life.
