Tyrese Gibson Gets Back Behind The Wheel, To Star In ‘Death Race’

Tyrese Gibson is back at it again and will playing another character behind the wheel after doing so in ’2 Fast 2 Furious’. The singer/actor will be joining Jason Statham (Crank, The Transporter, The Bank Job) in the action car film, ‘Death Race’, where the drivers are convicts and there are no rules and they must win to get their freedom or die trying. A penitentiary full of felons has inspired the jailers to create a grisly pastime ripe for lucrative kickbacks. Now, adrenalized inmates, a global audience hungry for televised violence and a spectacular arena come together to form the Death Race.

Three-time speedway champion Jensen Ames is an expert at survival in the harsh landscape that has become our country.
