Rolling Stone named Lil Wayne Best MC in their new Best of Rock 2008 Issue and they have done an editorial taking readers “Inside the strange mind and brilliant rhymes of the most exciting rapper of his generation” as the editorial put it.

In the lengthy editorial/interview with Lil Wayne, Rolling Stone wanted to know, how many tracks Wayne cut in recent years and Wayne responded “Somewhere in the thousands.”

Mariah Carey is on the April cover of JET Magazine. In the magazine Mariah speaks about her weight: “I think people should be a size where they’re comfortable with but when you’re constantly having your picture taken and on TV like I am, well I could see I really did need to lose some of the bulk, I might be doing a workout video, which will be a big joke anyway, but I can show how I did it. I still have curves though.”

Mariah also spoke about her music. As the editorial on EbonyJet.com puts it:

Her new hit song, Touch My Body, has reached the top of the charts–bringing her total of No. 1 singles on the Billboard singles chart to 18, overtaking Elvis Presley’s record and placing the songbird only behind the Beatles, who have 20. “I really can never put myself in the category of people who have not only revolutionized music but also changed the world,” Carey says about the milestone. “That’s a completely different era and time.
