According to the Associated Press, Da Brat has been released from jail on $50,000 bond following her arrest on Thursday (November 1).

Da Brat born Shawntae Harris was arrested early Thursday after a push-and-shove incident at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 which escalated into the rapper allegedly throwing a rum bottle at a waitress which ended in a deep laceration to her face. (more…)

According to NY Post, rapper Eminem has a new girlfriend who reportedly looks just like his ex-wife Kim Mathers.

A source tells NY Post: “Marni works at FBT Studios in Michigan where Eminem records. She is the spitting image of Kim and he is smitten with her.

“She has dumped her boyfriend, who she has been with for four years to be with him.”

Singer/producer T-Pain, 24, born Faheem Najm, surrendered to authorities on Friday morning and was arrested in Florida by the Leon County Sheriff after receiving outstanding warrants in Tallahassee. The charges were for a non-moving traffic violation and driving with a suspended license. (more…)

This isn’t the first time rapper Da Brat born Shawntae Harris has assaulted someone, in 2000 the rapper pistol whipped a woman. Well on today (November 1), Da Brat was arrested for allegedly striking a waitress in the head with a rum bottle during an altercation at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 nightclub. The rapper reportedly got into it after a waitress bumped into her, which went into a shoving match. (more…)
