According to the Associated Press, Da Brat has been released from jail on $50,000 bond following her arrest on Thursday (November 1).
Da Brat born Shawntae Harris was arrested early Thursday after a push-and-shove incident at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 which escalated into the rapper allegedly throwing a rum bottle at a waitress which ended in a deep laceration to her face.
Da Brat posted bond and was released Thursday night and was charged with aggravated assault.
