According to The Detroit News, Eminem will not be dropping a project this year despite recent rumors and the launching of the site kingmathers.com which fails to redirect to a forum.
Eminem’s Interscope Records publicist, Dennis Dennehy, said Tuesday “It’s not true” and called kingmathers.com “bogus.” There is no Eminem album on any release schedule,” he added.
Eminem’s last project was 2004′s Encore with his greatest hits album “Curtain Call” and the compilation “The Re-Up” in 2005 and 2006 following.
In related news, Eminem appeared on T.I.’s new album “T.I. vs T.I.P.” on the song “Touchdown” produced by Eminem and Jeff Bass. The rapper is expected to appear on 50 Cent’s new album “Curtis” which is due in stores on 9/11.
