Lil Wayne and Ja Rule Going ‘Uh Oh’, Hit With Gun Charges One Hour Apart

Rappers Lil Wayne and Ja Rule have apparently got caught up in the mix after getting charged with criminal possession of a weapon in different incidents that happened approximately one hour apart in New York.

According to reports Ja Rule and an associate was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a .40-caliber pistol after speeding in a sedan on West Avenue in New York. Lil Wayne on the other hand was allegedly spotted by officers with an associate smoking by a tour bus on 61st Street and Columbus Avenue after a concert at the Beacon Theatre. Police are stated to have found a .40-caliber pistol on the bus which could have belonged to anyone riding the tour bus and has charged him with criminal possession of a weapon and for having illegal drugs (marijuana).

In other news, Ja Rule and Lil Wayne has got together and created the single “Uh Oh” which has started to get airplay on the radio and across the internet. The song is from off Ja Rule’s forthcoming album “The Mirror,” which is due to hit stores on September 25.

On October 18, 2007, Lil Wayne is expecting to release “I Can’t Feel My Face” a collaborative album with Juelz Santana.
