Mariah Carey recently introduced her first fragrance, M by Mariah Carey in a partnership with Elizabeth Arden (the same company that sells the Britney Spears perfumes) with the help of perfumers Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong of International Flavors and Fragrances. Mariah Carey reportedly signed a licensing and marketing deal to create and promote a fragrance line using her name and trademarked butterfly design.
“This is the first fragrance I’ve ever worn. The inspirations were multiple – places I’ve been, moments in my life, childhood things like the marshmallow scent,†the “Honey†singer told press.
