Victim Speaks About Rapper Remy Ma Shooting Her

“The fact she would think I would steal from her, it hurts me because I thought she was a friend of mine,” Makeda Barnes-Joseph, 23, told the Daily News. After being friends since childhood, the young woman thought that the rapper would have shown some type of remorse after shooting her. According to the victim, Remy Ma didn’t say anything, she just shot her and dumped the bag.

“All I heard was the gun go off,” Barnes-Joseph told The New York Daily News. “I couldn’t believe she shot me. “What hurts me is that when she shot me she went over and dumped the bag. She didn’t even say, ‘Oh, my God, I just shot her.’ That’s what hurt me so much.”

Let’s remember that this whole ordeal can go either way depending on what the victim does and of course the prosecutors. When it boils down to it, the victim can have a choice of having her long time friend committed to some type of therapy which can give her minimal jail time or have Remy Ma fully prosecuted. Even if she doesn’t press charges, the prosecutors will try to pick up the case and still have the rapper prosecuted for any acts and charges they can pin on her. Only time will tell. Since the friend has stated Remy Ma shot her, she better buckle up for a bumpy ride. Of course everyone may do a settlement and Remy Ma would end up doing a few months or something.

After all, life is too short and precious for stupidity.
