More than a week ago, Manhattan prosecutors couldn’t prove a seized gun belonged to rapper Fabolous, so all the charges filed against him were dropped.
Last October, Fabolous was shot in the leg outside Justin’s in Manhattan, in a parking-lot fracas that occurred after someone snatched a $50,000 chain off NBA point guard Sebastian Telfair. Fabolous along with three other men drove to the hospital to treat his gunshot wound. They all were arrested at the hospital after NYPD searched-and-seized two unregistered handguns from the SUV they were driving.
All charges filed against the other three men were also dropped.
“There were four guys in the car,” said Fabolous’ lawyer, Alberto Ebanks, told reporters. “My client jumped in the back seat of the car after he was shot. It was not the car he came to the club in.”
