50 Cent performed “Amusement Park” which was selected by BET Viewers’ Choice as the song to perform and the G-Unit rapper/CEO was the only one that seemed to have gotten bleeped out for explicit vocabulary which probably had Rev. Al Sharpton on the edge of his seat. Yeah right, Al, we know you wanted to bob your head and you probably did do a little bob off camera. And did anyone pay attention to Diana Ross when 50 Cent walked by on the floor during his performance, she didn’t seem to look to pleased.

Erkyah Badu gave a nice performance followed by Chaka Khan doing a rendition of Diana Ross’ song “I’m Coming Out” in honor of the singer/actress. Following Chaka was the legendary singer Stevie Wonder with his rendition of Diana’s “Upside Down”.

Diana Ross made it to the stage to accept her “Lifetime Achievement Award” which she’s definitely worthy of.

“I have tried to keep the standards high,” Diana said. “We do not have to say the F-word, we do not have to pump and grind, we do not have to some of these things to have longevity in our career. … I will do the diva master class for you!”

Now as far as that statement about profanity, yeah you are right Diana, f@ck that, all that sh!t these rappers be saying, they need to keep that sh!t out, f@ck dat, f@ck dat, f@ck dat!

Now moving right along, BET CEO Debra Lee, was looking hot unlike her previous looks with the corporate hairstyle. She left the corporate outfit definitely at the house and brought out the “make’m wonder, let’em know I’m a woman” outfit and sported a sexy new hairdo.

Now, winding down towards the end of the show was a sporty, somewhat athletic gear performance by Ciara which the highlight came after Ciara’s amazing low riding matrix backbend down to the floor: this was when rapper/producer Lil Jon appeared, Ciara stripped down out of her athletic gear clothing down to a shiny bikini like top and shook that ass like she was trying to put out a fire on it. Not as exciting as a Ciara nipple slip would be, but exciting, yes.

The show ended with an acceptance of the “Viewers Choice Award” which went to Lil Wayne and Birdman for “Stuntin Like My Daddy”.
