Video: Mexican Rapper Down With ‘Lean Like A Cholo’

Mexican rapper from Southern California named Down aka Kilo brings the track, “Lean Like A Cholo” (Inclinación como un cholo) which also a dance associated with. “Lean Like A Cholo” made it to No. 38 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart and comes from off his album Definition of an Ese which released on May 22.

Down was selected on June 11th as the MTV Tr3s “Descubre & Download” Artist and will be receiving high profile placement on multiple platforms including MiTRL, MTVTr3s.com, MTV Tr3s Radio, MTV Tr3s Mobile, MTV.com, VOD, and MTV Networks’ URGE digital music service.

According to Jose Tillan, SVP of Music and Talent Strategy for MTV Tr3, “Down was selected because his music represents the diversity in the Urban Latino movement and is a great fit for our ‘Descubre & Download’ platform”. “His track ‘Lean Like a Cholo’ promises to be a winner this summer. Sorry, but don’t the dance which goes with the song actually looks like a reject Gangsta Walkin’ without the Buck Jumpin’. Hmmm… It’s cool if you don’t want to dance though. Now throw some bows.
