Usher Dumps Mom’s Management; Ex-girlfriend Chilli To Be Client

You’ve possibly heard about Usher, 28, leaving his mother’s management company. Right? Well anyways his mother owns J-Pat Management (Jonnetta Patton) and according to Media Takeout she’s going after ex-girlfriend Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas (TLC) to manage her career. Chilli who’s been managing her own career for the past few years probably should consider it since nothing has been happening thus far.

Media Takeout states that a person close to Chilli told them the inside scoop in an exclusive interview that Chilli is really considering signing with Jonnetta’s company. The two are great friends and respect each others talents the source was quoted as saying.

Chilli is reportedly expected to be coming out with her album later this year as reported previously on HipHopRX.

Other reports say that the divorced mother of three, stylist Tameka Foster, 39, who Usher is currently engaged with is the one Chilli caught him with and she’s the reason the Chilli split with the singer.

A reporter for New York Daily stated that a source told them at Jonnetta’s party in April, “They definitely don’t get along. Tameka came to Jonnetta’s birthday on April 6. They hugged and posed for photos, but it was all for the cameras. Tameka went on the radio and took some shots at Jonnetta. Tameka has a hold over him. Nobody can figure it out. Some people think he may make Tameka his manager.”

Jonnetta Patton previously tried to remove Tameka as his stylist, but evidentially that did work. The mother also reportedly had to get a restraining order against Tameka Foster who is also allegedly feuding with Chilli. We’ll see how long this goes on.

According to Usher, “She (Tameka) has no aspirations of becoming my manager or any other artist’s manager.”

The singer also dumped his longtime publicist Simone Smalls who confirmed that she, herself, is no longer working for him — after a near decade-long association.

What better way to get back at Usher…. throw his true love in his face.
